For over 100 years, the International Business College has been teaching students in the way of success and business. Based out of Texas, the career school currently boasts campuses in Lubbock, Sherman, Denton, Midland, and McKinney.

Far from being business-exclusive, the International Business College offers a variety of programs in legal-, health-, spa-, and tech-related fields of work. Currently the career schools offers certificate programs that prepare students for the following professions: court reporting, nurse's aide, computerize accounting specialist, legal assistant, medical office specialist/transcriptionist, word procession specialists, network operations technician, administrative assistant, computerized office specialist, legal secretary, and microcomputer operator specialist.

  • The International Business College has been accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS).

  • The International Business College also offers Cosmetology programs in Nail Technology, esthetics, instructing, and the operator profession.

  • In order to gain national and Texas certification as a court reporter, you'll have to be able to type 225 wpm. Students of the court reporting program are thus required to type at 225 wpm with only five percent error, and must also complete an externship/internship in order to graduate.

  • Students who graduate from the network operations technician program will be equipped to apply for, and work in, the following industry positions: systems designers, network administrators, computer repair specialists, network operators, hardware technicians, software developers, web specialists, and information system technicians.

  • Graduates of the legal secretary program will be able to apply for the following positions: legal secretary, receptionist, legal support employee, and junior legal secretary.

  • Graduates of the computerized accounting specialist program will be able to apply for the following jobs in the industry: accounting assistants, junior auditors, data entry operators, office assistants, archivists, and insurance adjustors.
