The Pennsylvania college of Optometry is a non-profit independent college of optometry offering numerous graduate and doctoral programs a diverse range of fields. Some degree programs include a Doctor of Audiology, a Doctor of Optometry, a Master of Science in Low Vision Rehabilitation and more.

The Pennsylvania college of Optometry was founded in 1919 and is located in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County on an 11-acre campus featuring numerous state-of-the-art facilities. Among them are the Library and Center for Computer Assisted Learning, the Gérard Cottet Library and others.

The Gérard Cottet Library offers students a vast collection of more than 21,000 texts and periodicals with a wide-array of resources and collections in fields such as optometry, ophthalmology and vision rehabilitation. The Pennsylvania college of Optometry offers a clinical classroom in Oak Lane, Philadelphia as well. Students also have access to the Eye Institute located in the College Oak Lane campus as well as the William Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center which gives students the opportunity to gain hands on access in their field of study.

Among this College of Optometry's many distinctive qualities, includes a four-year optometric curriculum, which was established in 2001. This program gives students opportunity to experience basic and clinical courses, the introduction of clinical concepts and more.

Students can take advantage of the many student clubs and organizations The Pennsylvania college of Optometry has to offer. Some include the Pennsylvania college of Optometry Lions Club, the Student Optometric Service to Humanity and more.

Off campus, student can take advantage of the major city of Philadelphia located close to campus. The city of Philadelphia offers numerous restaurants, cultural attractions, recreational activities and more. Some of the major sights include the Philadelphia Museum of Art and others.

International Programs are also available through the colleges Center for International Studies which gives students the opportunity to study in more than 13 countries.
