The salon Professional Academy in Onalaska, Wisconsin is equipped with modern professional styling and shampoo stations, manicure tables, pedicure thrones, Esthetics beds, plus a make-up studio. SPA Onalaska is affiliated with a chain of Redken 5th Avenue schools that bring trendsetting standards and professional product with which to train Onalaska's next generation of cosmetologists.

Redken 5th Avenue artists, along with local experts, choose and train each cosmetologist to qualify for their state's certification and licensure process. The line of Redken products used at the SPA are approved for only Redken cosmetologists.

Though many other states accept transferable credits, Onalaska trains each graduate for certification in the state of Wisconsin. It is the goal of Redken 5th Avenue to place graduates in their own studio, studios run by the country's top cosmetologists, work as media stylists or in the resort industry.
