The Thomas More College of
liberal arts is a four-year school located in Merrimack, New Hampshire, founded in 1978 by Catholic educators. At the core of the
New Hampshire School's curriculum is a humanities program, where students study entire texts of the West as opposed to a collection of excerpts. All students at the Thomas More College of

Degrees given by the Thomas More College of Liberal Arts are accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and through the American
Academy for Liberal Education. All theology teachers at the
New Hampshire School are required to obtain the Mandatum from the local bishop, which certifies their doctrinal fidelity.
All full-time sophomores at the Thomas More College of Liberal Arts are offered a semester in Rome, where students live in Trastevere and are taught by college faculty. Students in the program follow the
New Hampshire School's humanities and writings cycle, plus study theology and the art and architecture of Rome. On the weekends, students can participate in optional day trips. Past tours have included Assisi, Florence, Pompeii, Cerveteri and Ostia. Students from the Thomas More College of Liberal Arts participate in all Holy Week liturgies and attend a general audience with the Pope during their stay in Rome.
