Founded in 1925, The Victoria College is a public, two-year community college with a main campus in Victoria and learning centers in Gonzales and Port Lavaca. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, The Victoria College prepares students for further education or employment through its emphasis on intellectual growth, workforce training, and personal enrichment.

Students at The Victoria College can pursue a certificate or associate's degree in a wide range of majors in the fields of health, public service, technical education, humanities, fine arts, science, mathematics, physical education, and social and behavioral sciences. In addition, The Victoria College offers continuing education, customized training, and lifelong learning activities designed to meet the needs of the community. Many courses are available online or through videoconferencing facilities.
