The Washington Bible College/Capital Bible Seminary is an evangelical Christian, multi-denominational and multi-ethnic institution offering major degree programs rooted in Christian theology. Founded in 1902, programs at Washington Bible include a Certificate in Biblical Studies, an Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies. The Capital Bible Seminary, founded in 1958, offers a wide-range of biblical educational opportunities including, four Master of Arts degrees, a Master of Divinity degree, a Master of Theology degree and more.

Students will be able to take advantage of expert faculty at Washington Bible College as well as a student faculty ratio of 12 to one providing smaller classrooms for students.

The Washington Bible College and Capital Bible Seminary campus offers a diverse community with students representing several different backgrounds. The colleges location in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area also provides access to cultural activities, world renowned museums, restaurants and more.

Students can find state-of-the art facilities on campus such as dormitory housing, apartments for married students, a chapel, a prayer barn, a bookstore, athletic facilities and more. The Oyer Memorial library offers numerous resources electronic collections and journal collections alike including Christian e-books, biblical studies, encyclopedias, writing guides and more. Students can also find only minutes from campus in downtown Washington, D.C., one of the world' largest and most notable libraries, the Library of Congress.

In addition to many activities offered on campus, students can become involved with the Athletics program, offered to both women and men at Washington Bible college. The college is a member of the National Christian college Athletic Association (Division II East Region) and the Shenandoah and Chesapeake Conference. The athletic program aims toward the "glorification of God through our actions, attitudes, and words both on and off the playing field." Sports include women's volleyball and men's basketball.
