Tri-State University is located in Angola, Indiana, and was founded in 1884. The Indiana School sits on a 400-acre campus that includes an 18-hole championship golf course and several residence halls. Tri-State University plans to update its business and education schools with a fiber optic network, creating a wireless environment and shared multimedia access.

More than 35 academic programs are offered by Tri-State University, ranging from psychology and forensic science to management information systems and mechanical engineering. The Indiana school also offers a variety of minors, including aeronautical engineering, criminal justice, music, golf management and robotics. The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools accredits degrees awarded by Tri-State University.

Tri-State University offers students numerous extracurricular clubs and organizations. Nationally recognized fraternities with chapters at the Indiana school include Delta Chi and Kappa Sigma, and four local sororities are also recognized by the school. Beta Beta Beta, Pi Tau Sigma, and Skull and Bones are among the honor societies at Tri-State University. Special interest groups include the American Criminal Justice Association, Habitat for Humanity, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Newman Group, and the Multicultural Student Association. Tri-State University also offers students study abroad opportunities in Rome, Paris, Bulgaria and Honduras.
