6601 West College Drive
Palos Heights, IL 60463

Located 20 miles southwest of Chicago, Trinity Christian college is a private liberal arts four-year institution. The idea for Trinity Christian College was born in 1952 when a group of businessmen conducted a feasibility study to determine the need for a two-year college in the greater Chicago area that would uphold Christian values from a Reformed view. By 1959, the former Navajos Hills Golf course was renovated for the purpose and students began classes in renovated clubhouse and pro shops. In 1966, the board voted to pursue transforming Trinity Christian college into a four-year degree granting college and the first Bachelor's degrees were awarded in 1971.

Today, Trinity Christian College enrolls approximately 1,300 undergraduate students per year. While the student body still draws a number of learners from the Reformed and Presbyterian backgrounds, students of many faiths attend Trinity Christian College. The college offers more than 30 majors. Those students wanting to experience the world on an international level have many study abroad opportunities. Students may choose to go on an interim trip to the Philippines, South Africa, Jamaica, Italy, China or France.

A majority of students originate from Illinois, but more than 40 percent come to Trinity Christian College from out of state. Students may live on campus, and residence halls provide more than 650 units for students who wish to do so. Spiritual life is an important part of student life at Trinity Christian College and in 2001, the college dedicated a new 1,200-seat chapel which serves as the main point for students to come together for their worship, as well as for musical and other performances. Chapel services are held twice a week. Trinity Christian College is a growing campus. In 2002, Trinity Christian College opened The Heritage Science Center, a 38,000 square foot educational center with classrooms and research labs dedicated to the sciences. In 2004, the campus expanded its residence life opportunities by completing a new residence hall. A new art and communication center with space for the performing arts is currently being planned.
