Christian college with the main campus being in Deerfield, Illinois. Trinity International University consists of four schools:
Trinity College, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Trinity
Graduate School and Trinity Law School in
Santa Ana, California. Trinity International University also has programs in
Chicago Florida and California. Founded in 1897, Trinity International University was established on the principle to educate Christians in being personally and professionally successful in their lives.
Established by the Swedish Evangelical Free Church as a ten-week Bible study in the basement of a Chicago church, Trinity International University soon evolved into a permanent
Bible College. Through a series of partnerships with other schools, the current consortium of Trinity International University was born.
The schools at Trinity International University enroll nearly 3,000 students combined each year. Trinity College offers more than 30 Bachelor's degree programs, many of which come with specialized degrees. There are also more than 20 minors offered at Trinity College. Trinity International University also offers eight Master's degree programs, four Doctoral degree programs and six professional degree programs. Master's degrees awarded include: bioethics, communications and culture, counseling psychology, instructional leadership, teaching, divinity, theology, counseling ministries, counseling psychology, ministry, urban ministry and arts. More than 100 students enroll in the PhD programs each year. Doctorate degree programs include ministry, philosophy (theological studies, instructional studies and educational studies. A juris doctor is awarded in law and a JD MA dual is awarded in bioethics or communication and culture.
Students may choose to live on campus in one of the residence halls on the main campus in Deerfield. Spiritual life is an important part of student life at Trinity International University. A chaplain oversees two separate chapel programs, one for Trinity College undergraduates and another chapel for the divinity and graduate school programs. In addition, Trinity International University suspends classes one day each semester to observe an official Day of Prayer.

Trinity International University has several intercollegiate sports teams that compete in baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball and volleyball. In addition, intramural sports offered on campus include flag football, basketball, volleyball, pool, ping-pong, and coed indoor soccer.
There are more than 20 ministries, honors, academic, music and other clubs and organizations on campus.
Trinity Evangelical Divinity School is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools.
More than 90 percent of students at Trinity International University receive some form of financial aid.
