Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1958, Trocaire College is a private, coeducational, Catholic College located in Buffalo. Accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, this New York two-year college provides a career-focused education with an emphasis on personal enrichment in a community-based learning environment.

The degree programs at Trocaire College are founded on a core curriculum in the liberal arts. Students who pursue a liberal arts degree can benefit from Trocaire's transfer programs with various four-year colleges and universities in Western New York. Trocaire College also offers career-centered associate's degree and certificate programs in business, computing, education, hospitality management, and a wide variety of healthcare majors. Several courses are available through distance education. Trocaire College has also established a Center for Workforce Development, offering customized job training to the community.
