Tyler junior college is a comprehensive community college located in East Texas. Founded in 1926, Tyler Junior College offers a career-focused education designed to meet the needs of the local community and industry. TJC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Students at Tyler Junior College can pursue an associate degree or certificate of proficiency in more than 50 areas of concentration in the fields of health, nursing, business, and technology. Pre-professional health programs include dental hygiene, diagnostic sonography, radiologic technology, and respiratory care. In addition, Tyler Junior College offers lifelong learning through its continuing education program.

Tyler Junior College competes for the NJCAA in six men's sports and five women's sports. Students can also participate in more than 30 organizations including club sports, the Apache Band, academic and professional groups, and campus ministry.
