All Union residence halls include a private bedroom for each student. All residence apartments are equipped with internet, cable, and phone connection. In addition, wireless network access is on hand in residence commons areas, as well as in each academic building and the Student Union Building. Students are offered filtered internet access, a Union email account, and private file storage space as part of the Union network.

Union University is in the midst of expansion and growth. There are plans to build a new residence hall every two years for the next decade. Additional classroom space, library facilities, and parking areas are part of the plan at the school's Germantown campus due to a rapidly growing student body. The past few years have seen an increase in enrollment in continuing studies program for non-traditional students, graduate studies in business and education, and several nursing degree programs. Other immediate goals include the Doctor of Pharmacy program that will require constructing a freestanding building, with state-of-the-art laboratories, technologically advanced classrooms and office space. Union has invested more than $60 million in on-campus improvements in the past decade.
