United Tribes Technical College was founded in 1969 to provide educational and employment opportunities to Native Americans. Accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, UTTC offers occupational training with a focus on social and cultural development. Students from all backgrounds are welcome.

Students at United Tribes Technical College can choose from 20 Associate of Applied Science degree programs and eight certificate programs in the fields of art, automotive technology, business, construction technology, criminal justice, health, science, and teacher education. Several degree programs in health and education are offered online as well.

United Tribes Technical College competes for the NJCAA in basketball, cross country, and golf. Students can also participate in a wide range of on-campus activities and Student Senate.
