Founded in 1932, University of Great Falls is a private, coeducational,
Christian university under the leadership of the Sisters of Providence. Accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, UGF offers a liberal education with a focus on developing character, competence, and commitment.
Students at University of Great Falls can choose from more than 40
associate, bachelor's, and
certificate programs. At the graduate level, University of Great Falls offers a Master of Science in Counseling, Master of Education, Master of Arts in Secondary
teaching, and Master of Science in Organization Management. A Master of Arts in Teaching
degree is also offered through
distance learning, along with a wide variety of undergraduate programs.
University of Great Falls competes for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics in five men's sports and six women's sports, along with a co-ed cheer and dance team. Students can also participate in a variety of organizations offered through the Campus Activity Board.
