University of Minnesota, Morris is a public, coeducational,
liberal arts college located on a 118 year-old campus. As one of five campuses of the
University of Minnesota system, the Morris campus offers a small, close-knit environment in a town with a population of little more than 5,000. Students from the Minnesota area, as well as 28 additional states and 14 foreign countries, represent the student body.
Founded in 1960, the research university has an enrollment of about 1,700--all undergraduate students--and more than 145 teaching faculty. The University of Minnesota, Morris offers bachelor of arts degrees in 30 majors mostly in education,
humanities, cience and mathematics, and the social sciences.
The University of Minnesota, Morris is a green campus. Collaboration between faculty and students has culminated into environmentally friendly initiatives that touch almost every aspect of campus life.
