Classes are intimate and taught by accomplished faculty (not teaching assistants) to ensure the greatest measure of professional insight at the University of New Haven. Students build upon the core curriculum: foundational courses in the humanities and sciences, including study of writing and speech, reasoning, diversity, ethics, history, culture, intellectual life, and the natural and physical world. Critical skills, such as problem-solving, teamwork, technology awareness, effective communication, and career-readiness, infuse all disciplines. This is why UNH graduates aren't simply proficient in their chosen fields; they're profoundly equipped for the world, ready for anything.
