At the University of North Florida, students are our first priority. Faculty and staff at UNF recognize that every student is an individual with different goals, learning styles, and needs. With that in mind, UNF is committed to offering each student a highly individualized educational experience. Undergraduate class sizes average just 34 students.

Professors foster a supportive academic atmosphere that encourages exploration and growth, providing our students with opportunities for life-changing learning. These "Transformational Learning Opportunities" have become a trademark of the UNF experience. Students discover real applications of their chosen field firsthand by participating in internships, supervised field research, and immersive study abroad trips.

The UNF campus is surrounded by Northeast Florida's natural beauty, nestled among nearly 1,400 acres near Jacksonville's coast. Outside of class time, students enjoy nearby beaches, shopping, dining and entertainment, and sports venues. Our proximity to downtown's business center has facilitated the growth of important career networking opportunities at hospitals, advertising agencies, banks, and more. On campus, our student body is growing in strength and spirit. More than 150 active clubs and organizations foster the community atmosphere that makes UNF unforgettable.
