The University of Northwestern Ohio is a private university that does not require out-of-state tuition. Northwestern Ohio is comprised of technological and
business colleges as well as
distance learning. Block classes allow students to organize all of their classes in a morning block, afternoon block or evening block.
The College of Technologies offers associate, baccalaureate, diploma and certificate programs in
automotive, diesel, high performance, agricultural, alternative fuels, HVAC/R and CDL. These programs take from 36 weeks to two years to complete. The University of Northwestern Ohio has recently expanded into six modern buildings, which contain more than 163,000 square feet of classroom and shop space, along with student and faculty lounges to accommodate the increasing enrollment in the programs.
The College of
business of the University of Northwestern Ohio offers associate, baccalaureate, master's, and diploma and certificate programs in accounting, business,
health care, office technology, information technology, legal, marketing and travel/hospitality.

The University of Northwestern Ohio also offers distance learning classes for students who cannot attend classes on campus. Northwestern Ohio provides students with the opportunity to earn one of seven baccalaureate degrees, 11 associate degrees and seven diplomas without having to take classes on campus.
