The
University of Saint Francis, founded in 1890, is a Catholic, Franciscan sponsored, coeducational,
liberal arts university. The campus has 72 acres of lawn and lined pathways surrounding a central lake. The learning experience is grounded in the Catholic/Franciscan tradition.
The student body is comprised of approximately 2,000 students and about 250 graduate students. Saint Francis offers 11 undergraduate and five graduate degrees, including a Master of Science in
nursing.
The University of Saint Francis has a Green Campus initiative to enable students to be more environmentally conscious.
