The University of South Carolina Union was one of the first regional campuses established by the University of South Carolina in 1965 and provides the first two years of a liberal arts university education. USC Union, which consists of four buildings, is centrally located between Greenville, Columbia, and Charlotte, North Carolina.

The campus enrolls between 300 and 400 traditional and nontraditional students each semester and employs 28 faculty. In conjunction with Associate Degrees, USC Union offers students access to bachelor's degrees in interdisciplinary studies. Evening courses are available as well.

In addition to traditional courses, the University of South Carolina Union offers a variety of courses through Distance Education. These courses are offered through videocassette and both open-circuit and closed-circuit television. Distance Education also allows students to complete graduate programs through the Extended Graduate Campus program.
