The University of St. Francis is a private, liberal arts Catholic college located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Founded in 1890 in LaFayette, Indiana, the University of St. Francis is now located on a 72-acre campus that was the former estate of John H. Bass. The satellite location in Crown Pointe, Indiana serves students from northwest Indiana and northeast Illinois.

The University of St. Francis enrolls approximately 2,000 students each year. The University of St. Francis awards 11 Bachelor's degrees and five different Master's level degrees. Prospective students applying to the University of St. Francis must have a high school diploma or GED; have graduated in the upper half of their high school class and have a GPA of no less than 2.4. Transfer students and adult students over the age of 24, must have no less than a 2.3 GPA on their prior college transcript.

Approximately 35 percent of all full-time undergraduate students at the University of St. Francis live in one of the four residence halls on campus. Students have the choice of traditional dorm-style living or apartment living. There is a residence hall specifically for freshmen. There are a variety of clubs, sports and activities in which students can choose to participate.
