University of St. Thomas is a private,
Catholic College located in Houston, Texas. The University of St. Thomas was founded in 1947 by the Basilian Fathers. It was the first and only Catholic university in Houston and remains so today. Founded on the Catholic principles of education and faith, with an emphasis on providing a quality education, the University of St. Thomas has been recognized as a leader in academics.
