University of the Cumberlands is a private, Southern Baptist
liberal arts institution situated in the Kentucky mountains.
The Campus spans approximately 70 acres and includes two
sports field complexes and 34 buildings that are a blend of Antebellum, Edwardian, and historic Williamsburg, Kentucky architecture.
There are more than 2,000 students at Cumberlands, and the student to faculty ratio is 17 to one. The average class size is 26. About 70 percent of the University of the Cumberlands faculty have earned the highest
degree in their field. Faculty members also belong to more than 200 professional organizations.
University of the Cumberlands' sessions include two 14-week terms, a one-month May term and an optional summer session. Students choose from more than 40 different majors, minors and pre-professional programs. All students are required to take leadership training.
