Situated within Canada's borders but within close proximity to Michigan in the United States, the University of Windsor offers its students and faculty breathtaking views of the Detroit River. Located in Windsor, Ontario, the city is quickly becoming the automotive capital of Canada. Founded in 1963, the Windsor college is home to approximately 16,000 full-time and graduate students.

The University of Windsor is aimed to providing a well-rounded and critical education for both all its students. More than 30 academic areas of study are explored within more than a 10 faculties at the University of Windsor. The University of Windsor's programs range from sciences, business administration and engineering to arts, education, law and mathematics. The University of Windsor takes pride in its academic accomplishments and continued success. Its newest project will be the building of the school's medical facility.

Proudly sporting colors of blue and gold, the University of Windsor Lancers have been improving upon its athletic programs for roughly 50 years. Athletics are a huge part of the University's social and active scene. Students may choose between a number of men's and women's varsity sports, which include but are not limited to basketball, fast pitch softball, track, cross country, golf and hockey. Varsity sports aren't all the University of Windsor has to offer. Many intramural teams are offered for students to stay active. Intramural teams offer a competitive edge along with championships and tournaments. Want to stay active on your own schedule? The University of Windsor students can workout within the school's recreation facility and enroll for physical fitness classes.

Research facilities and world-renowned, research-oriented faculty members back classroom instruction at the University of Windsor. The Windsor college boasts an automated library system, Cad and CA resources, laboratories and many additional resources all among a wireless campus.
