Dating back over 130 years, the University of Winnipeg was awarded its charter in 1967 and since than has been a growing institution of higher learning. The University of Winnipeg is home to more than 9,000 undergraduate students who are enrolled in one of the following degrees: arts, sciences and/or education. Within the three faculties are nearly 50 degree programs for students to pursue. The University of Winnipeg also offers graduate degree programs in theology, Marriage and Family Therapy. The Winnipeg college's Graduate School is focused on not only in-class instruction in the advancement and involvement of research.
