online, established in June 2001, is a fully accredited
associate of arts and science
degree program, provided entirely
online through the University of
Wisconsin colleges.
UW Online courses are developed and taught by the same professors who teach in the UW Colleges classrooms. University of Wisconsin-Colleges Online courses follow the same academic calendar as the 13 UW Colleges campuses.
While students can work around their own schedule, they can expect to spend an average of three to four hours per week per credit on each fall or spring semester course and five to eight hours per week per credit on each summer course. University of Wisconsin-Colleges Online partners with other UW System programs to assist in the transfer of course credits.
