University of Wisconsin-Fond
DU Lac, established in 1963, is one of the 13 campuses of the University of
Wisconsin colleges, which are part of the 26-campus UW System. The 183-acre park-like campus is composed of six buildings that surround a two-acre lake.
There are more than 750 students enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac. The average class size is 25 students. There are about 19 full-time professors at the two-year institution. The majority have a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in their field.
The University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac offers students a guaranteed transfer program, which ensures them admission to the UW campus of their choice. After graduation students have the option of staying in the area and enrolling in distance
education to earn a bachelor's degree from one of the four baccalaureate University of Wisconsin campuses that include: UW-Milwaukee,
UW-Green Bay, UW-Superior, UW-Platteville.
