The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, one of 13 four-year campuses that are a part of the University of Wisconsin System, offers more than 55 undergraduate majors and 15 master's degree programs.

Of the more than 11,000 students who attend the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, more than 10,500 are from Wisconsin. More than 9,700 are undergraduates and 1,300 are graduate students.

The National Wildlife Federation recognized the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with The Campus Ecology Recognition award. The college ranks 23rd among all U.S. colleges and universities using renewable energy and is the second largest purchaser of renewable energy in Wisconsin. In addition, the university sponsors the largest Earth Charter community summit in the world every year.
