Established in 1894 as a teacher's
college, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is approximately halfway between Milwaukee and Minneapolis along the Wisconsin River. The 400-acre campus has more than 35 buildings, including a newly renovated university center, new practice and performing facilities for the
fine arts and 14 residence halls.
