The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, one of the 13 four-year universities in the University of Wisconsin System, offers more than 45 undergraduate majors with more than 120 program options and more than 75 minors. In addition, there are more than 10 graduate programs.

Established in 1894 as a teacher's college, the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is approximately halfway between Milwaukee and Minneapolis along the Wisconsin River. The 400-acre campus has more than 35 buildings, including a newly renovated university center, new practice and performing facilities for the fine arts and 14 residence halls.
