University of Wisconsin-Waukesha, founded 1966, is one of 13 freshman/sophomore campuses in the University of Wisconsin system. Students receive an associate of arts and science degree that allows them to satisfy general education requirements and foundation courses in order to pursue a major at a four-year university. The Wisconsin two-year
liberal arts school sits on an 86-acre campus.
More than 2,000 students are enrolled at University of Wisconsin-Waukesha. The average class size is about 25 students. Students can take classes in the following areas: agriculture and natural resources; architecture and environmental design; biological sciences;
business management; communications and letters; education and library sciences;
engineering and technology; fine and applied arts; foreign languages; health professions; home economics; interdisciplinary studies; physics, mathematics and computer sciences; public affairs and services; and social sciences.
Working in collaboration with University of Wisconsin-Waukesha, UW-Milwaukee makes it possible for students to obtain a UWM bachelor of arts degree in organizational administration, communication, or a bachelor of science degree in Information resources- with an optional minor in
business administration while remaining on the Waukesha campus.
