Vici the Aveda Institute is located in Vici Park, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has been providing renowned beauty services and training for over 35 years. In addition to Vici the Aveda Institute, Vici has other beauty and wellness centers throughout the area.

At Vici the Aveda Institute, students can pursue Cosmetology and esthiology training programs. The cosmetology program consists of 1,800 hours of hands-on training in beauty and wellness. cosmetology theory and practical courses include hygiene, grooming and personal development; bacteriology, sterilization and sanitation; tools, equipment and implements; haircutting, hair treatments, and hair styling; hairpieces; manicuring; laws and professional ethics; and the history of barbering and cosmetology as well as a number of other courses in cosmetology. Upon completing the program, students are prepared for careers as stylists, hair color specialists, sales representatives, salon managers, or salon owners.

The esthiology program is 600 hours of study of theory and practical courses regarding skin care as well as makeup techniques. Through hands-on training, students learn to perform facials, waxing, body treatments, and makeup application. Courses include laws and code, bookkeeping, business management, history, and ethics; safety, sterilization, and sanitation; anatomy and physiology; chemistry, treatments and process; treatment-product and techniques, electricity, machines and equipment; make-up and color analysis; and other esthiology courses. Once students complete the program, they will have business building skills and the foundation needed for a career as a licensed skin esthetician.

The cosmetology and esthiology programs are full-time with courses Tuesday through Saturday. Classes begin every six to eight weeks.

Vici the Aveda Institute is owned by Advanced Institute of Hair Design, Inc. The institute is licensed by the State Licensing Agency State of Wisconsin, Department of Regulation and Licensing, and accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Science. Vici is also approved and licensed by the Wisconsin State Board of Cosmetology, Department of Regulation and Licensing, and the NACCAS.

Financial assistance is available to students who qualify through federal and state programs. Vici also has scholarships and grants and a payment plan to assist students with their tuition obligations.
