Wayland Baptist University offers convenient access with their main campus located in scenic Plainview, Texas and 13 external campuses, with locations both internationally and nationally located in Hawaii, New Mexico,
Arizona, Alaska, Oklahoma, Africa and more.
Located on the main campus in Plainview, Texas students can take advantage of numerous state-of-the art facilities and a diverse community. Some of the facilities on campus include the Abraham Family Art Gallery and the Museum of the Llano Estacado. Some exciting events students can take advantage of is the annual
Christian university Theatre Festival. Students can also enjoy off campus activities as well in the West Texas city of Plainview. The city boasts a historic district complete with museums, art galleries and more.
Wayland Baptist offers an award winning athletics program including mens and women's varsity sports. The university boasts more than 25 NAIA basketball ball tournament appearances, more than 100 individual national champions and more. Varsity sports available are volleyball, basketball, indoor and outdoor track and field, cross country, co-ed cheerleading, golf and more. In addition to academics and sports, there are more than 30 student organizations and clubs available. Some include the Wayland Symphonic Bell Choir, the German Club and many others.
Students at Wayland Baptist University can benefit from small class sizes, with a 15:1 student to teacher ratio on the main Plainview campus and a 17:1 student to teacher ratio on other campuses. Wayland Baptist also offers financial aid and scholarships with over 95 percent of full-time students receiving assistance.
