Webb Institute is a unique institution specializing in Naval Architecture and Marine
engineering. The small student body made up of approximately 94 students receives a four-year, full tuition scholarship covering room, board, books and personal expenses.
Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering is the only academic program offered at the Webb Institute and it includes several engineering disciplines such as ship design and systems engineering; marine engineering;
electrical engineering; mechanical engineering; and civil/structural engineering. Webb Institute is also the only naval architecture that allows its students to work (and earn a salary) in the maritime industry during the winter semester. Webb Institute also has a 100 percent job placement rate.
Webb Institute students live a 26-acre estate with a private beach. The
college also offers inter-collegiate, co-ed soccer, cross-country, baseball, basketball, volleyball, tennis and sailing. . Webb's musician students also participate in the North Shore Symphony Orchestra.

The
athletic facilities include a gymnasium with a standard basketball court, a universal weight machine, and a free-weight room; two outdoor hard-surface tennis courts; and the waterfront.
At the waterfront, Webb offers eight JY-15 dinghies, a Catamaran, a motor boat, four Lasers, and five sail boards.
