Webber International University is a four-year independent coeducation university located in scenic Babson Park, Florida not far from Disney World and Universal Studios. The University, founded in 1927 was recognized a "Best in College in the Southeast" in "The 2008 Princeton Review." It is also recognized as a "Best Value" College.
Part of the Webber International University's mission is to educate 'students in preparation for careers in the worldwide
business environment.'. The university offers several notable undergraduate programs such as accounting, sport management, general
business studies and more. Graduate academic programs include MBA management, accounting and others.
Weber International University also boasts a comprehensive athletic program with numerous men's and women's varsity sports including baseball, basketball, soccer, cross country and more. Additionally in 2008, Webber International University partnered with the Kegel training center to offer a unique sport, collegiate bowling. The Webber International University bowling team plans to compete in
United States Bowling Congress events and has scheduled nine tournaments for the 2008-09 school year. Webber is a member of NAIA and the Florida Sun Conference.
Students at Weber International University can also enjoy and experience a diversified background of students representing numerous countries and cultures. In 2008 students were represented from more then 20 states and 35 countries. Weber International University is small, with an undergraduate student body of about 600 in 2008, which provides for an excellent student to faculty ratio. Among the many state of the art facilities found on this 110-acre campus is the Grace & Roger Babson Library, which maintains a curriculum specific print collection of books and journals as well as a specialize
business section. Weber International University also has the Rex R. Yentes Conference Center constructed in 2002, which houses a computer classroom, computer workroom, the Career Services Center, Admissions Offices and a 325-seat auditorium.
