Institute of Technology was founded in 1940 as a career-focused institute. Wentworth offers 15 undergraduate programs in areas such as architecture, computer science, design,
engineering, engineering
technology, environmental science, and management of technology.
Wentworth's exceptional cooperative
education which consists of a three-part learning experience combining class work, laboratory/studio work and professional work experience has been successful for over 30 years. This program is one of the few of its kind in the entire nation and provides students with the experience they need after graduating.
Wentworth offers its students a choice of over 40 clubs and organizations. Wentworth also has an amazing athletics program that includes over 15 varsity, two club and six intramural sports teams. Wentworth is a part of the NCAA Division III, Eastern College Athletic Conference and Commonwealth Coast Conference.
