West Chester University of Pennsylvania

West Chester, PA 19383
A comprehensive, multipurpose institution, West Chester University of Pennsylvania offers high-quality undergraduate and graduate degree programs in more than 100 subject areas, as well as certification programs. As the second largest member of the State system of higher education, West Chester offers a full and rewarding educational experience as well as reasonable tuition. Plus, as the president of the Pennsylvania college points out, "our campus is small enough to be friendly but large enough to offer a comprehensive range of programs."

Student Affairs Departments encourage students to become involved in campus life through social and educational programs, leadership and personal development sessions, student organization membership, athletic and recreational activities, community service, and on-campus employment opportunities. Engagement in "life outside-of-the-classroom" is an important part of the overall college experience and compliments the academic mission of the University.

Today, more than 12,000 graduate and undergraduate students, along with 1,500 faculty and staff, study and work on the 388-acre campus. Situated in the Borough of West Chester, the campus is a picturesque mix of Gothic, Victorian, and modern architecture with pleasant, tree-shaded walks.
