Founded in 1965, West Georgia Technical College serves the counties of Heard, Meriwether, and Troup. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, West Georgia Tech provides a career-focused education in the fields of business, health, and industry.

West Georgia Technical College offers more than 15 associate degree programs, 15 diploma programs, and 60 certificate programs through its five departments: business & CIS Technology, Personal & Public Service, Industrial Technologies, Health Sciences, and General Education.
