Established in 1967, West Shore community college is a comprehensive two-year institution of higher learning that is committed to offering residents the best in general education and career training. In fact, the curricula at this Michigan college is specially designed to meet the needs of almost any type of individual. Whether a student wishes to enter the workforce after graduation or would like to transfer to a traditional four-year college or university in order to earn a bachelor's degree, West Shore Community College has the occupational and academic programs necessary for success.

West Shore Community College's 360-acre campus in Scottville features four centers that are dedicated to both education and services. While classrooms and laboratories for the occupational programs are located within the Technical Center, the Arts & Sciences Center contains a 279-seat auditorium, library, Audio-Visual Center, greenhouse, science labs and much more. Students will also find a wellness center, classrooms and offices for the YMCA within the Recreation Center, and the Campus Café, Data Center, and various offices in the Campus Center.
