Established in 1926, Western Oklahoma State College is a state-supported, two-year college serving Jackson, Greer, Harmon, Kiowa, and Tillman counties. Accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, WOSC provides educational opportunities to students and the surrounding community.

Western Oklahoma State College offers academic programs leading to an associate degree or employability certificate in a wide range of fields, including education, humanities, business, technology, health, public safety, nursing, and the arts. distance learning opportunities are available in many departments, and non-degree-seeking students can take up to nine hours of instruction at Western Oklahoma State College.
