Founded in 1851, Westminster College is a private, liberal arts-based Undergraduate college with a curriculum based on the liberal arts. Each student at Westminister get an intimate educational experience as the student body is approximately made up of 950 pupils. Classes are interactive, and seminar-style, with an average of 14 students per class.

Westminister College offers over 36 majors, more than 34 minors and approximately 12 pre-professional programs. Westminister students can choose a self-designed major which allows students to design their own major in fields such as advertising, communication, public administration and sports management. Westminster is known to provide excellent education training in Education, engineering, Fine Arts, Health Professions, Legal Professions, Speech Communications and the Humanities.

Westminster College has a vibrant student life with over 50 student clubs and organizations. concerts, lectures, theater, movies, volunteer opportunities, and athletic events are consistently available on campus. Westminster is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Division III). Men's varsity sports include baseball, basketball, football, golf, soccer, and tennis. Women compete in basketball, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball.
