Westminster College has been providing a nationally recognized liberal arts education to students since 1852. The college offers more then 39 majors in areas such as fine art, music, history and more. Bachelor of Arts, Science and Music are among the degrees programs as well as Masters of Education and more. This Presbyterian affiliated College is ranked 15th among liberal arts colleges, according to the Washington Monthly 2007 Annual College Guide. The college is also one of the "The Best 366 Colleges" and the "Best in the Northeast" according to "The Princeton Review."

This historical campus at WC is located not far from Pittsburgh, Erie and Cleveland and is located in Westminster, a small town featuring quaint shops and farms. The campus itself offers 300 acres featuring more than 20 state of the art buildings, a 100 acre outdoor laboratory and more. Some of the facilities include the McGill Library and J.S. Mack Science Library which contain more than 224,000 volumes. Students can take advantage of small class sizes at the university with a student faculty ratio of 13 to one.

In addition to a diverse academic program students can chose from nearly 100 student organizations and a variety of athletic programs. Westminster College offers more than 19 varsity sports for both men and women and is a member of NCAA Division III. Some include football, baseball and tennis.

Westminster College offers numerous scholarships to students and contributes over $25 million in financial aid annually.

Not only can WC students experience culture with a diversified student body on campus, but a bit of Egypt as well. One of the most unique aspects of WC is the 2300 year old mummy donated to the college in 1885 by the Rev. John Giffen, an alumnus of the college. The mummy was excavated from the city of Akhmim. The mummy and many other Egyptian artifacts belong to the Westminster College Cultural Artifacts Collection.
