Westminster College is located the scenic city of Salt Lake City in Utah. The Westminster campus spans more than 25 acres, which includes numerous state-of-the-art facilities and more for students to take advantage of. Among them are the Giovale Library, which offers numerous digital collections, print volumes and more accessible to students. Other facilities on campus include the Emma Eccles Jones
Conservatory of Music and Theatre, the Dolores Dore Eccles Health, Wellness and Athletic Center, which features a swimming pool, a climbing wall and more.
Students can take advantage of a diverse range of both on and off campus activities at the Westminster College. Varsity, intramural and club sports are offered for both men and women. Varsity sports include cross country, basketball, golf, skiing and more. Also accessible to students are clubs and organizations such as the Philosophy Club, the Ski and Snowboard Club, the Film Club, the Spanish club and much more.
Not only are there numerous on campus activities, but a plethora of off campus recreational, cultural and historical attractions as well. Salt Lake City is home to numerous national parks, ski resorts, a variety of restaurants, the Great Salt Lakes and more. Some city attractions include the Kennecott Copper Mine, Capital Theatre, Snowbird Resort and many others. Salt Lake city was also rated as the number one "Dream Town" by
Outdoor magazine in 2005.
