Founded in 1980, Westminster seminary California is a Reformed Christian graduate educational institution located in Escondido, California. WSC is committed to the Gospel of Christ as taught by the inerrant Scriptures and as summarized in its Reformed confessions of faith. Westminster Seminary currently has ten full-time faculty members and enrolls approximately 120 full-time students.

WSC offers two primary programs of study. The three-year Master of Divinity program is designed to prepare men for the ordained pastoral ministry. The two-year Master of Arts program consists of concentrations in biblical, theological and historical-theological studies. It encourages women and men to pursue their own interests in preparation for various kinds of service in Christ's kingdom.

From the beginning, WSC committed itself to providing an excellent theological education with a particular focus on preparing men for pastoral ministry. The Scriptures, the Gospel of Christ, the importance of the church and preaching, and the Reformed confessions have all guided the life and teaching of the Seminary.
