Westmont College, founded 1937, is an undergraduate
liberal arts college that emphasizes the worldwide evangelical Protestant tradition. Set in the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains, there are mountain and ocean views from the 111-acre campus. The Westmont campus includes 24 major buildings, including two former estates and the historic Deane School for Boys.
More than 1,300 students from 24 states, 11 countries, and 33 denominations are enrolled at Westmont College. There are about 90 full-time and 49 part-time faculty, and the student to faculty ratio is 12 to one. The average class size is about 18 students. Approximately 89 percent of the faculty members have doctorates. Westmont offers undergraduate degrees in 26
liberal arts majors, 10 pre-professional programs, and an elementary and secondary credential program.

engineering/physics, English, English-modern languages, French, history, kinesiology, liberal studies, mathematics, music, natural science, neuroscience, philosophy, physics, political science, psychology, religious studies, social science, sociology and anthropology, Spanish, and theater arts.
