William Howard Taft University, which was initially established as a way for certified public accountants to pursue continuing education classes, is now a private, independent, postsecondary, nationally accredited
distance learning institution offering graduate degree programs in law and
business.
Taft University students can choose from two tracks when studying at the Witkin School of Law. While the law school awards Juris Doctor degrees, it offers courses for students preparing to take the bar exam as well as for students who want a knowledge of
business law but not a traditional legal practice. William Howard Taft University also offers Master's degress in Law with a concentration in Taxation or American Jurisprudence. The School of Education offers a Master of Education program and the
business schools offers a Master of Science in Taxation program and a Master of
business Administration.
