William Jessup University, founded in 1939, is a Christian college located on a 125-acre property. There are more than 500 students enrolled in 11 programs of study including bible and theology, business administration, Christian education, foundational studies, intercultural studies, music, pastoral ministry, psychology, Public Policy, teacher education/liberal studies and youth ministry.

A Degree Completion Program is available in management, counseling psychology and Christian leadership at the San Jose campus. William Jessup students can complete a major in less than 19 months. Classes are compressed into one night per week. There are no exams at William Jessup; students demonstrate their command of materials through writing assignments and group related activities. Classes function like seminars with the professor facilitating the learning experience through idea exchange.
