of Ohio, founded in 1870, is an independent liberal arts institution offering undergraduate, graduate programs and more in a variety of disciplines. Undergraduate degree areas of study include communications arts, criminal justice, equine studies and more. Graduate programs offered at Wilmington include a Masters of education program. Wilmington College accommodates both traditional and nontraditional students alike. Adding convenience and flexibility for adults students, Cincinnati branches of the college are offered in Blue Ash and on the campus of Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.

The scenic campus spanning more than 60 acres includes numerous state-of-the-art facilities and more than 20 buildings accessible to students. Among them are the Watson Library which offers numerous content databases, more than 90 journals, additional resources and more. Additional facilities at Wilmington include the Simon Goodman Carillon, the Campus Village and others.

Students can take advantage of a diverse range of both on and off campus activities at the Wilmington College. Wilmington offers an array of varsity sports for both men and women including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, outdoor track and more. Also accessible to Wilmington students are clubs and organizations such as the International Club, the Educational Theater Company and much more.

Not only are there numerous on campus activities, but a plethora of off campus recreational, cultural and historical attractions as well. The city of Wilmington offers a unique historic downtown, fun festivals, farmers markets and more. Wilmington was featured in the book "The 100 Best Small Towns in America" by author Norman Crampton.

Wilmington is also within close proximity to the major city of Cincinnati which offers students with additional attractions. Some of the Cincinnati attractions include the Cincinnati Zoo, the Cincinnati Art Museum, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center and more.
