Wittenberg University is a liberal arts institution offering a diverse range of academic programs. Wittenberg offers more than 60 majors, minors and special programs including environmental studies biochemistry & molecular biology, russian area studies and more.

Wittenberg University is nationally ranked as 118 among liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report's "Best Colleges of 2008." Wittenberg University was founded in 1845 and is located on a scenic 95-acre campus in Springfield, Ohio.

The campus includes many state-of-the-art facilities with more than 25 located on campus. Among them are the Weaver Observatory House, the Wittenberg 's 10-inch reflective telescope, the Kuss Science Center, the Music and technology Lab, residence halls and apartments and more. There are also abundant opportunities for students to explore culture and art on campus at the art gallery and fine arts center.

Wittenberg offers a diverse range of students representing more than 37 states and about 22 foreign countries. Student can take advantage of a wide array of clubs and organizations as well with more than 150 clubs and organizations offered on campus in areas ranging from media, to politics, to religion. Some clubs include the Archery Club, the Wittenberg Astronomical Society and the Conservation Club. Also offered at Wittenberg are more than 22 varsity athletic teams competing in the NCAA Division III. Varsity sports for men and women include softball, tennis, track and field, football and more.

Students can experience the many cultural and recreational activities off campus as well. Springfield offers the Symphony Orchestra, the Springfield Museum of Art, the Glen Helen Nature Reserve and many other parks. Wittenberg is also not far from three majors cities of Cincinnati, Dayton an Columbus.
