Woodland community college (WCC) is a California two-year school that is part of the Yuba Community College District. This year marks the 30th anniversary of Woodland Community College. During that time, the campus has grown from a few relocatable buildings to permanent structures that are still growing.

Over the past two years, construction has been evident on the campus. In 2004, Woodland Community College added the new Science building and in 2005, the school broke ground for the new Learning Resource Center. The Learning Resource Center will house an expanded library, computer labs, classrooms, Distributed Education, tutoring center, study rooms and faculty offices.

The faculty and staff at Woodland Community College are committed to improving excellent instruction and services to guide you in attaining your educational goals. In addition, the college features some active student groups - the Associated Students of Woodland Community College (ASWCC), and MeCha, as well as a few fledging clubs.

Woodland Community College has the advantage of being small, so students can receive more attention if they so desire. Most courses here do not get filled as quickly as they do at the other community colleges. Parking also tends to be cheaper and more plentiful.

Woodland Community College is alonside Yuba College in Marysville and the Clear Lake Campus in Clearlake, as part of the Yuba Community College District.

WCC has a transfer agreement with University of California, Davis -- You can be a B student at WCC and be automatically accepted into UCD as a junior.

The Woodland Community College has a bookstore on campus that carries all required texts, and even has an online store for those who can't make it to the campus location during business hours.

The California two-year school extends a warm welcome to students attending classes in Colusa County --- outreach staff is available to serve students at two locations in Williams and Colusa. Woodland Community College is committed to expanding services and program options for neighboring students.
