York College, a senior college of the City University of New York, offers 44 undergraduate programs in a variety of disciplines. Also offered are a variety of certificate programs. Some undergraduate programs offered include business administration, environmental health science, information systems management and much more. certificate programs are in areas such as child and youth workers, Aviation management and many others.

York College is located in Jamaica, New York, not far from Manhattan. The 50-acre urban campus offers many state-of-the-art facilities students can take advantage of. Among the many state-of-the-art facilities on campus is the York College Library, which offers numerous databases, more than 150,000 books and a many additional resources accessible to students. Also on campus is the Performing Arts Center, which features two theaters and offers many concerts and shows. York College is also home to the unique Aviation Institute, which is the first City University of New York to concentrate exclusively on aviation studies.

Students can also take advantage of many on campus recreational activities at York College. There are a variety of men's and women's varsity sports offered, such as cross country, indoor track and field, tennis, softball and more. Athletic facilities include, the York College Gymnasium which features an Olympic size swimming pool and other highlights. Student can also take advantage of a variety of clubs and organizations. Off campus student can take advantage of the major cultural, historical and recreational city of New York. New York offers major museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, countless ethnic restaurants, Broadway shows, shopping and much more.

York College offers numerous forms of financial aid to students including, work study programs scholarships, grants and more. Scholarships are offered to many types of students, including entering students, current students, international students and more. Some scholarships include the Aviation Management Scholarship Program, York College Foundation Scholarships, the Dennis Moorman Scholarship and many others. About 70 percent of full-time City University of New York Students receive some form of financial aid.
